1. Technical Specifications

The system's strength is derived from its composite infill design, allowing it to handle significant weight despite its decorative appearance.

2. Structural Design & Loading

The 3,000kg bearing capacity makes this cover suitable for much more than just foot traffic.

● Reinforced Infill: The 24mm concrete bed acts as the structural "core." When the concrete cures inside the tray, it bonds with the metal frame to distribute pressure evenly.

● The Finish Layer: The 11mm tile or marble is strictly for aesthetics, sitting flush with the surrounding floor.

● Applications: Due to its 3-ton rating, it is ideal for luxury car showrooms, hotel lobbies, private driveways, and commercial plazas where light vehicles or heavy equipment (like scissor lifts) may occasionally pass.

3. Key Components

● The Inset Tray: A precision-engineered "box" that holds the flooring material. It features pre-drilled, hole corners for the lifting keys.

● The Outer Support Frame: A rigid perimeter frame embedded into the sub-floor. It provides the "seat" for the tray and ensures a level finish with the rest of the room.

● Lifting Keys (T-Handles): Specialized heavy-duty tools that insert into the tray and lift it out.

4. Installation & Maintenance

To maintain the 2500 to 3000 Kg capacity, the installation must follow a specific sequence:

1. Frame Leveling: The outer frame must be set in a high-strength mortar bed to ensure it doesn't flex under load.

2. Concrete Infill: The tray is filled with 24mm of concrete and allowed to cure partially before the 11mm tile is bonded on top.

3. Sealing: A light layer of silicone strip is often applied to the frame edges to ensure the cover remains "easy-lift" and prevents foul sewer odors from entering the building.
